Every year, a large number of candidates take the Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test (MP SET), which is a gateway for people who want to be eligible to apply for the coveted position of Assistant Professor in various state government colleges and institutions.
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) played a key role in making this possible by issuing an official notification, numbered 01/2023, in January 2023. This notification invited applications for the State Eligibility Test. Aspiring candidates had the opportunity to submit their applications online between January 24 and February 26, 2023.

How to download MP SET Admit Card 2023 Online?
- Go to the website of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) at https://mppsc.mp.gov.in/
- Scroll down the homepage until you find the “Admit Cards” section.
- Find the link that says “State Eligibility Test Admit Card” and click on it.
- Enter your application number and date of birth in the respective fields.
- Make sure that the details you have entered are correct.
- Then, click on the “Submit” button.
- Your admit card will be downloaded to your computer.
- Print it out and keep it for future reference.
MP SET Exam Pattern 2023
There will be two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will have questions on a variety of subjects, while Paper 2 will have questions on optional subjects. The detailed examination scheme is as follows:
Paper – 1 (General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude)
- An offline exam will be conducted in OMR (optical mark recognition) format.
- There will be 50 multiple-choice questions, each with a weightage of 2 marks.
- The total marks for the exam are 100.
- The exam will be held for a duration of 1 hour.
Paper – 2 (Elective Subject)
- In this section, there will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Each question will be worth 2 marks.
- Therefore, the exam will be of 200 marks.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
MP SET Admit Card 2023 Useful Details
The mppsc.mp.gov.in SET Admit Card will be issued online only. In no case will they be sent offline. So, don’t expect the exam admission letter to be delivered by a postman or courier boy. Keep the printout of your application form ready with you to download the admit card.
The admit card will contain all the necessary information such as the candidate’s name, unique roll number, category, photograph, exam name, exam date and time, instructions to be followed in the exam, etc. The candidate must carefully check all the information. If any errors are found, the candidate must rectify them through the exam authority’s head office.
At the time of the examination, candidates must bring a photo identity card along with the printout of their MP SET 2023 Admit Card. The photo on the ID card must be the same as the photo on the admit card. A valid photo ID card may be an Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter’s ID Card, PAN Card, Indian Passport, or Bank Passbook.
